About adiuto
adiuto is a public-benefit platform that connects people who want to help with local initiatives and their concrete needs — a matchmaker for donations in kind, time and practical support.
Our idea
Local aid groups know what they need, but those needs rarely reach people ready to donate or lend a hand. adiuto makes both sides visible and brings concrete needs together with goods, time and effort.
How it works
Initiatives publish needs as tasks. Donors and volunteers find relevant tasks nearby, pledge a contribution and collect it in a “mission”. The mission is confirmed at handover so the initiative can see what is still needed and what has been covered.
Who is behind it
Simon Neuffer and A. Shah started adiuto in Berlin. It is currently operated as an unregistered, non-profit-seeking initiative focused on making local help simpler and more direct.
